This is only the first part. The Tale will be too long to publish it completely here and it is not finished yet.
It was planned as a chapter in the SF-novel. However, while writing it developed a life of its own.
So here it is:

The Tale of Tarsol

I write this as I understand it and how it was handed down over generations of my people. It might not be the only way to see the history of Tarsol; but it is as complete as I can write it up to this point. I hope you can understand what I’m trying to tell you about the history of the planet I was born on. There might be a lot of things similar to the history of your planet too. We all have the same origin. I wish you to understand that once you have read through this text.
The tale begins:
In the beginning there was only the big void, nothingness empty even of nothing. There actually wasn’t even a beginning, as there wasn’t even time. Emptiness without empty, nothingness without nothing, a void void of itself.
But suddenly there was a spark, an energy, a thought, an idea – simply something. Something that made the void full, the emptiness was filled, the nothingness vanished.
No, not a thought or idea – this would be really more energy than the spark. It was just a spark. It was just the beginning of something, of time, of existence. It was IT.
Do not ask me where this spark came from, I do not know. Do not ask me either how come the void was there; this too is beyond my understanding. All I know is that it all began with that spark, the spark of something. This was the beginning, the beginning of something, the beginning of existence, the beginning of time. Some say even the beginning of life as such. This is something that is still being discussed and thought about – if the mere existence of the spark is already life or if there has to be something more.
The spark was there a long time. Just being. No there, as IT was not aware of a there. IT wasn’t even aware of it being. This came with time. IT became aware of its own existence. Some say that life starts at this point – the point of becoming aware of ones own existence.
Now that IT knew that it existed IT started to think, to wonder about its own being. But IT was not able to understand what it was. There was nothing else.
After another long time the spark did something extraordinary. IT duplicated itself. IT didn’t know how it had done that, but now there was another of it there with it. Now IT could sense itself by being outside itself. And at the same time IT was still inside itself.
This was the beginning of in and out; of one and the other. The beginning of comparison; and the beginning of space as IT now needed room – for its own it and the other it. And the beginning of creation –not the first creation as the original spark had been created somehow too, but the beginning of creation in the sense of creating sparks like itself.
After a while the first spark and the second spark united again and now shared their view of the experience in and out of each other. But the first spark and the second spark both were not really satisfied with what they had learnt. So they separated again and there was also a third spark created. This one returned to the first spark after a while to share the experience of having two alike sparks beside itself. The first spark kept on making new sparks; some returned to the original spark fast, others taking longer; all sharing their experience and all learning from each other this way. Whenever a new spark was created out of the original spark it had this knowledge inside; not all though used it. Some wanted to make their own experiences.
And as the second spark was just like the original spark so it could and did duplicate itself as well; it did not return now to the first spark as fast again as it had the first time to share this experience. The second spark also did not need as much time to become aware of its self and think of duplicating itself as the original spark. The spark created out of the second spark could and did the same as the second spark and it did it faster again. Within a very short time compared to the original spark there were many, many sparks like the original one.
